Soesterduinen

On the Utrecht Ridge you will find Soesterduinen, the largest shifting sand area in the province of Utrecht. It is a great place for hiking, biking and playing with the kids or your dog. Also, this large sand drift is the pérfect setting for a picnic, but you can also hike or mountain bike around it. This beautiful nature reserve is a 15-minute drive from Van der Valk Hotel Amersfoort - A1.

Parking Soesterduinen

Around the sandy area at Soesterduinen there are plenty of parking spaces. But as a hotel guest you can also park for free at Hotel Amersfoort - A1. You can then get on the bus close to our hotel and go to Soesterduinen.
